Well, this is what we woke up to on our day of departure (Oct 9th)! Hard to believe we are leaving the frigid tundra of Saskatoon for the warm and tropical climate of Australia....sorry, just had to rub it in a bit. Once we get to Vancouver today, it is a just a short little flight (15 and a half hours) over to Sydney. That part we are not looking forward to....

All is well here. Still a very pleasant -4C this evening (Saturday) with a light breeze. Occasional snow flurry but no real buildup.
